Description:
In racing conditions, high lateral G forces can cause the fuel to ‘slosh’ around the fuel tank, which can lead to a loss of fuel pressure from the fuel pump and hence cause the engine to run lean and damage it. The fuel surge tank pumps to ensure there is always constant supply of fuel under all conditions.
